Service Description
PICK-UP TIME: 8:00AM DROP-OFF TIME: 2:30-3:00PM ITINERARY: 8:00 am. Pick-up at your hotel 9:00 am. Port of Corotú for a boat ride on "Piragua" Canoe with an engine. Our Embera friends will receive & take us to the "QUEBRADA BONITA " waterfall first (10-minute hike). Swimming is available, so take towels and swimsuits. Wet shoes are required or sandals with straps. No flip-flops 10:30 am We'll head to the community (nice restrooms available for use and changing) 11:00 -1:30 pm We´ll have our Embera tradtional lunch or Kosher Embera traditional that consists of Fresh tilapia fish (fins & scales) and plantain from the jungle, along with tropical fruit wich varys by season, dances, live music, tattoos, a chance to buy souvenirs and an amazing time! *Note* New utensils (knives, metal spoons, plantain smasher, salt, flour, kosher oil etc) are bought for each trip for all of our Jewish visitors. Before anything is cooked, we ask our Jewish visitors to verify the utensils, tovel if neccessary, invite one of our Jewish visitors to light the fire and then allow our Embera chefs to do the cooking for us 1:30-2:30 pm Head back to the hotel What to bring? Water shoes or sandals with back straps, swimsuits, towels, snacks, a change of dry clothes, hats, shades, sunblock, repellent What to know? Pick-up at the hotel at the designated time. Drive out to Puerto Corotú where our indigenous friends will be waiting for us with canoes and life jackets. We'll jump on the canoes and head to the waterfall. There we will hike inside the jungle and do some swimming so make sure to take swimsuits, water shoes, or sandals with straps. After the waterfall, we'll hike back to the canoes and head to the Tusipono Embera indigenous village. There, we will be received with live music and welcomed into the community. There will be restrooms to change into dry clothes. Presentation of culture and history, dances, and live music for dancing will be available and optional. Also, there is a chance to buy some nice souvenirs. Once all the activities are done, we will head back to your hotel. This trip is a great way to learn about the roots of Panama. Packed with adventure, waterfalls, swimming, live music, dancing, random flora and fauna, and much much more... Great for all ages!

Considering by adventure tourism activities as every activity in direct contac with nature can implicit risk. I completely absolve any company, agent, employee, supplier or sponsor associated with PANAMA WILD ADVENTURES of any or all legal, moral or financial responsibility of any eventually,personal injury, death in case of omission of information on my side, such as cardiac problems, osteoporosis, pregnancy, vertigo, hearing problems or other physical suffering with special medical restrictions that could affect my participation in this tour; I also accept that suffering at least one of these problems, the risk will be greater. I understand that the activities I am undertaking could be inherently dangerous. So, I am obligated to follow the recommendations, instructions and security rules of the PANAMA WILD ADVENTURES staff and the internal operation regulations. PANAMA WILD ADVENTURES is committed to providing a service with certified equipment and in optimal conditions. This document must be signed or by making a payment to our company it is considered a valid signature. You may canel your tour up to 1 month before the tour starts for a full refund due to any emergency, 2 weeks before for a 50% refund and 1 week or less for no refund due to reservations being made and paid with our drivers, captains and/or places that we visit. Note that rain is not an emergency unless it is a storm and we are cancelled by Panamanian Protection Servecis known as SINAPROC.
